The teaching objectives of the course are:

• To make students aware of the importance of DFI for the global economy
• To familiarize students with the issues of DFI and economic governance and the importance of these issues as a key parameter for understanding international relations in general.
• To build on and deepen the knowledge acquired by students in courses such as 'International Economic Relations' and so on.
• To prepare students to pursue postgraduate studies in subjects related to or requiring knowledge of the specific field of knowledge.
